Dear Oprah
If by some twist of fate you actually find the time to read this novel, I know it will have been by Divine Appointment. I write only as the Spirit of God moves me and for His glory.
Shortly after finding the Lord, I felt a calling upon my life to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the writing of Christian Novels. I have no formal training as a writer and I must depend entirely upon the Lord for guidance and counseling.
Although the characters in these novels exist only in my mind and the mind of the reader, the principles they live by come straight from the Word of God. The only exception is my third novel, "Penny's Miracle," which is a true story describing my wife Penny's struggle to survive cancer and the glorious triumph of victory when God healed her on Memorial Day, 2002.
If this novel, "Love's Promise," finds a lodging place in your library of books, I know it will have been by the unseen hand of God.
The majority of the profits from the books I write are dedicated to God to help us build a new church or repair our existing one.
