Church Bell to Ring! "After lying silent for so many years, the church bell at the Washington Avenue House of Prayer is scheduled to ring Prayer Meeting night, Thursday evening, July 8th, 2010 at 5 minutes to 7:00 pm," Leeth said. Leeth further stated, "It's to be a surprise for our Pastor and fellow church members. We originally had plans to have the surprise on Sunday but the Lord gave us a helping hand and we are three days early." Leeth calls it, "The Resurrection. We are just trying to be wise stewards of what God has entrusted to us." The church Leeth attends is located at 1230 Washington Avenue in downtown Washington Court House. "The church has been a lighthouse to the community for many years. It's a place where folk can hear the old-time gospel preached and sung about." This newspaper extends it's best wishes. |
