Author’s Biography I received my calling from God to write after I became a Security Guard at the Wilmington Ohio Air Park, a position I still enjoy today. I have a testimony to give and a story to tell and what could be a better way than in the writing of Christian Novels. Although the characters in the novels exist only in the stories themselves, the lives these characters live and the principles they live by are as real as life itself. As I began writing the Lord showed me how powerful words are. They can cheer the heart, inspire and lift up or they can tear down and destroy. I have chosen the higher calling to lift up and maybe in so doing lead some soul to Christ. The spoken word lasts for just a moment and soon the sound is lost in the vastness of eternity as it fades away but the written word will last forever. Jesus said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall never pass away.” The Word of God is the anchor upon which I write and on which the novels are based. I just hold the pen; God sends the words. |
After coming back to the Lord in the year of our Lord, 2001, I was called to tell the good news of the Gospel through the writing of Novels. God placed a burning desire within my soul to tell others of His Amazing Grace. I'm probably the most unlikely person in the world that God would ever call to write Novels or any other form of Literature as far as that goes. I never liked the subject when I was younger and in school, but the call was unmistakable. I may never know this side of eternity why God would choose me to write anything, but He did and I will, until I meet my Lord face to face and ask Him the question, "Why me Lord?"
